Fast grower reaching 50 to 60'. This is a well-shaped and adaptable tree. Bright green foliage in the summer turning a bright yellow in the fall. Native to areas with moist soil but adapts to a wide variety of soils including high pH, salt, drought and sterile soils. Excellent for natural habitats as a food source and ornamental use-make an excellent shade tree. Hardy to zone 3. Native to the entire eastern half of the US
