Fast growing , two-needle pine with a mature height of 60'. Needles are 4 to 6" long , cones are smallish. It is highly tolerant of city conditions making it an excellent selection for ornamental plantings in urban areas. Will grow in heavy clay to sandy soils; tolerant of drought conditions. Can be used in windbreaks, shelterbelts, land reclamation, hedges; can also be used as a specimen. Hardy to zone 2. Native to central Europe from Austria to central Italy

Medium to fast growth rate, two-needle pine with dark green, stiff needles. Mature height 35 to 50', larger in the wild. Excellent for light soils, dry soils and acid soils, does not like limestone soils. Will grow in soils too poor for most other plants. Full sun. It will tolerant extremely cold conditions. Good for windbreaks, shelterbelts and mass plantings. Hardy to zone 2. Native to upper midwest

Tolerates a wide range of temperatures from 50 degrees below to 100 degrees in the summer making it an excellent tree from the Midwest. Grown for timber and can be used for windbreaks, shelterbelts, land reclamation and natural habitats. Hardy to zone 2. Native to WI, MI, MN, northeast US, Canada
